Battle of the Books

The Battle of the Books is a quiz-show style competition covering a selection of books.  This is our first year to participate in this competition with area schools.  We will have three teams (6th, 7th, and 8th grades) with up to five people per team.  Tryouts are in January 2014, so get to reading!

To try out for the Battle of the Books team, you must:

  • read as many of the Battle books as you can
  • take and pass the Accelerated Reader quiz for each book you read
  • return the Battle books in a timely manner so all participants have an opportunity to borrow the books from the library
  • demonstrate good sportsmanship and behavior at all meetings and competitions
